Samatha Bed & Breakfast

This place is really good value for money. Very comfortable bed, nice big room and a balcony too with amazing views over the palm trees. Not far from the beach and easy enough to get around by walking. Very easy to get a taxi to the pier from the hostel next door who are very helpful.

It’s very basic but you get what you pay for. I thought it was really good.

Location, and quiet.

Poor communication, since they only reply to my online questions after I arrived to check-in, and also very unpleasant conversation over the phone with the manager, that clearly doesn’t know how hospitality works!

One of the best coffee I have never had Bed Restaurant downstairs

It’s right on Sairee beach, so that’s very good.

The staff first said we didn’t have a room there and were very confused. There’s a coffee shop right under the appartments. Our whole room smelled like weed, including our clothes because the terrace door doesn’t close properly. The curtains are not curtains: the light comes in.

Big rooms and balcony, comfy bed, fridge, very clean

The big con is that the curtains don’t block the light and the minute the sun rises we woke up. The whole room lightens up. The room wasn’t cleaned everyday and some of the sheets and blankets had holes in them. Other than that- great value for money but I would consider sleeping there again due to the curtains
