"Exceptional"

Excellent place to relax. Phil was amazing and told us many stories of Te Anau, Keas, Sheeps and even let us feed his sheep next morning. Breakfast was delicious and It was a lovely stay. 100% recommended.

Lovely place to stay with a fantastic view and lovely grounds. Phil was most welcoming and we enjoyed chatting to him and his other guests. Well positioned just a few miles outside the town centre. and a great base for starting the journey to Milford Sound.

"Great Host and Excellent Location"

Place was clean and nicely located in a quiet spot right outside of the Te Anau Town We were able to dine and admire a beautiful sunset Phil was welcoming and provided great advice for our drive to Milford Sound the next day 👍🏻 Will definitely return should I visit the area again!

"Exceeptional views, host and accomodation - highly recommended."

Phil was the ultimate host - informative, polite and helped plan our couple of days to and from Milford sound. The home is imacculate, well presented and breakfast was nice (tea, coffee, ceral, toast, fruit and yogurt). East to find and a great place to base yourself if you aree going to Milford Sound.

Location near Te Anau overlooking its lake is a beautiful setting. Host pleasant accommodating and knowledgeable. Bedroom kitchen and lounge comfortable. Fridge space good. Laundry available.

"Pleasant B&B in Te Anau"

Basic but clean and convenient place to stay in Te Anau area. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had limited selections but was fully sufficient. Phil (the owner) provided very helpful information that made our travel easier. We especially appreciated evening discussions with him and other guests. It added new dimension to our stay.

No particular complaints. Do not expect full service hotel and luxury.

"A view, with a wonderful room to stay"

Beautiful panoramic views of Lake Te Anua, fabulous room, amenities, off street parking and a wonderful breakfast to wake up to. Our host Phil has made his home a wonderful place to visit, share and relax. Enjoy his lives Iivestock just over the fence.
