I had a wonderful time staying at Rosalind House while walking the Hadrian's Wall Path. Comfortable, spacious room in a beautiful house. The breakfast was incredible with homemade pastries and scones. Highly recommend!

The staff was nice. Julie and her husband both were very warm and friendly. Breakfast was also amazing. Home made by Julie. And she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We loved our stay and the hosts. Also, it's a place where it values to get to know other people, in a friednly way. We heard stories from other people staying in the place and that made our day start pleasantly. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

This is a perfect location for exploring Carlisle. It is run by friendly and thoughtful hosts with an excellent breakfast including nice touches like home made savoury scones. The ensuite room was very attractive. The hosts also provided a parking permit which was a real bonus for us. There are nearby restaurants which were varied and excellent. We felt very welcome.

"Everything was perfect"

Breakfast was superb ,anything you wanted no problem. The room was lovely and quiet,with the chocolates very nice personal touch and the owner Julie was charming and welcoming .

Très bon accueil dans cette jolie maison bien décorée. Bon emplacement pour partir à la découverte du mur d'Hadrien ou aller faire un tour au sud de l'Écosse. Julie et son mari sont très aimables et accueillants, le petit déjeuner généreux et délicieux.

"Fantastic stay in Carlisle"

Awesome gem in Carlisle. Julie provided fantastic hospitality. The rooms are modern, yet cozy. Comfy bed. Lots of little personal touches such as fresh milk in a glass bottle and yummy home-made cookies. We loved every second of our stay at Rosalind House. Would definitely come back. Great location in walking distance to the city center, the University of Cumbria and the Carlisle Cathedral
