"Not quite what we expected (e.g. self-check in) but it worked out well enough in the end."

Good location for anyone doing the coastal walk at an affordable price. Self check-in so get there any reasonable time. Breakfast wasn't included but there's a deli that does good food around the corner, and the pub next door does basic evening meals (Grey's Inn).

It was late September and the room heating didn't come on until midnight. This probably wouldn't be an issue June-Aug but it was getting chilly late Sept.

"Just what I wanted for one night."

It had everything I needed for one night. WiFi was good and room very clean.

No food available it didn’t bother me too much as I was only staying one night. No staff but self check in was very organised.

There was no hot running water. The lack of breakfast was not reflected in the price, although we had been made aware of the situation after booking.
