Bed and Breakfast Papillon

The host Romana is very kind and generous. We arrived in the afternoon, she welcomed us with tea and cookies. The breakfast prepared by her is super nice, tasty and warm. Interior is beautiful, with pretty furniture and paintings. There’s a piano outside the room we stay, and we enjoy playing it.

Nothing except not walking distance to varenna and the train station.

Absolutely superb experience. Romana welcomes you like family, very attentive and kind. The views around the area are stunning, breakfast was of the best during our Italy trip. Our family had an amazing time here!

Beautiful stone house in the hills above lake Como. The hosts were lovely, the beds and bedding very comfortable, the breakfast - rich and delicious presented in a room with a beautiful stone fireplace. We arrived later than anticipated but the hosts were very flexible. The accommodation is also pet-friendly.

Everything was great. I'd just suggest adding a shampoo and a conditioner in the bathroom.

Beautiful property with great views over the lake. The room was cosy and very well-decorated. The host was super nice and very welcoming, and cooked up a very good breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

The hosts were super friendly, we arrived in the middle of the night, and they did not complained about that. Location is quite away from the city center, but you easily can reach by car and parking near is FREE. View from the window is amazing, as you can see lake Como. Breakfast was really delicious, same as at home. Thanks to CHEF!
