Colin's Place

El lugar tiene mucho encanto, es una casa antigua. La ubicación excelente, al lado del mercado nocturno.

En general, estuvo muy bien. Es un alojamiento en un edificio tradicional y esto tiene su encanto.

Reservamos el alojamiento con desayuno, pero el día antes el dueño nos comentó que ya no le es posoble servir desayunos.

Name hat gewechselt. Obwohl wir vor der Türe standen konnten wir die Unterkunft nicht erkennen - niemand da, alles geschlossen. Erst nach herumfragen kam dann jemand und öffnete uns. Sorry, Kaffee geschlossen, kein Frühstück obwohl wir mit gebucht hatten. Wlan funktionierte nicht. Alles dunkel, waren die einzigen Gäste.

It is very near jonker street, 10 mins walk, just need to jaywalk across a busy road, all good after the first time. This is an old house which is refurbished to keep it's traditional looks, it is an interesting experience as well. There is also a very really good restaurants for breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper near by the place, all within 5min walking distance. It is excellent value for money consider the location and even the free breakfast from the host. There is a cat as well!

The place is a bit old and designed to be old, so furnitures and toilets aren't really the best and comfortable. For the ladies, the mirrors are a bit wonky. The roof will be super noisy with the heavy tropical rain. The water heater is super noisy but usable.

The hotel was closed when I arrived. I called four times but no one answered. Finally answered the phone but didn't respond（pocket dial）and started saying some rude things with his staff. And still dont want to pick up when i call them again. They made me wait at their hostel for about 40 minutes. Two hours later, they jusy sent me a message asking me to cancel the reservation by myself, saying they had told the platform they don't accept last-minute reservations. But at least you just answer my phone then explain it, NOT JUST IGNORE US.
