Colin's Place

We stayed for 8 nights and just found the place to be so charming! Since we were staying 8 nights, Colin and his lovely wife whipped up a few different breakfast dishes to keep us on our twos. They were delicious! We loved the vibe of the place and the room had a lot of charm.

Very friendly owner. Even provided some local breakfast once. Room Laksa was very nice. Looked like you stayed in some museum. (in a positive way;) )

Due to the perfect location and it was olaced direktly on the road it was qutite loud some times. The other room were located on a different side of the house.

The location is very near jonker street. Spacious room.

The room appears to be dusty and probably due to the weekend the room is very, very, very noisy. The motorbike is having their racing every few minutes from the evening onwards until 3am in the morning. So it is a sleepless night if u choose to come on a weekend.

Great location for a short stay at a good cost.

Everything was good so nothing to complain about.

The house so reminds me of my younger days growing up in my grandparents house in Jalan Tranquerah.

We liked the old house vibe, the amazing host Colin and his wife, the short walk to Jonker st and many other food courts outside Jonker st. Colin is a wonderful host giving us and every other guest flexibility for checking in and out. His knowledge of the area is extensive and he goes out of his way to share it with you. I wouldn’t worry about the other comments regarding the wooden floor. The people commenting on the noise are overreacting. Bonus: A friendly cat greats you at the door. Thank You, Baba Colin!!

Very good location, Just a short walking distance from the old city and the main street -- Jonker Street. Collin was communicating well.
