I love everything about this place: service, beauty of the old peranakan house, quietness, convenience. It takes only 15' by walk from the house to the center.

the food in the cafe downstairs is nice.but it’s not nice to stay there for the night.the room is facing to the main traffic road and it’s extremely noisy at night. And the way of coming back after sightseeing is a little bit scary because of the empty ruins.

An authentic historical locallly managed/owned business on the edge of the historical centre of beautiful Melaka. Incredibly accommodating hosts, spacious room with all facilities including A/C, Fan, comfortable double bed, large windows for ventilation and ensuite bathroom with hotwater shower. Beautiful antique furnishings and a superb cooked breakfast provided every morning. A little outside the historical centre but only 10 minutes walk to all of the sights that are famous in Melaka with several dining options within a few minutes walk. Safe feeling neighbourhood, I walked home after 11pm every night and never felt there were any issues walking around the area after dark.

I loved everything, just be aware you are on the outer edge of the historical centre of Melaka, about 10 minutes walk to the river, so a little outside the main action and in the middle of the day this is a very hot walk - an umbrella is recommended for sunshade.

We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay in this house, which is part of the history and culture of Melaka. The traditional decor is amazing and we felt as if we were in a home of one of our family members. We booked three nights and ended up staying nine. Beautiful, comfortable, and clean rooms. Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from the center, perfect for resting without noise. The professionalism, excellent service, and the kindness and friendliness of Colin, Robin, and PG made our days in Melaka wonderful. Always with a smile and willing to help with everything. We arrived very early on the first day, and they were kind enough to store our backpacks and had the room ready much earlier than expected so we could rest. Excellent and abundant breakfast with several options to choose from. We had tea and coffee with milk, as well as toast with eggs, beans, and fruit. Our stay coincided with the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, and they also included portions of mooncakes in the breakfast — we loved them!
