Staff are great and friendly. Room was ready early so he allowed us check in early. Our room was huge. Only three rooms so it’s got a real family house feel. Breakfast was good. A few minutes walk to Jonkers street and

We had the big room in front so the street noise can be heard.

Typical peranakan house. It’s length is long. Reminds me of my younger days when I use to stay at my grandmother’s house. Also along Jalan Tengkera. I’m a peranakan too so it was deja vu. Host very friendly.

Old heritage building, aged like a fine wine, maintain well, spacious... Feel at home.. awesome host uncle Colin

Need to do spring cleaning in the room once a month.. it gets dusty since it's on the main Street.. noisy road if you stay in the LAKSA room. But it was still a great stay

The pillows were either too soft or too hard. Recommend to change pillows.

Raining could be a nightmare due to trees or animal that could run pass the roof. May get shock and wake up

Beautiful shophouse, loved and looked after so well. The owner is extremely thoughtful, knowledgeable and hospitable, and the resident cat is also a brilliant host. Room was huge with tasteful vintage furniture. Great location, walking distance to all the sights of the old town without being in a tourist trap spot. Plenty of food options nearby, and free breakfast made fresh to order in the morning with the room price, customisable for vegetarians too. Host very easy to contact over whatsapp
