This is a phenomenal place to stay. Sandra and Doug are great hosts and we enjoyed our chats with them over breakfast. They also had good suggestions about where to eat in the neighborhood. We loved seeing the pictures of how they renovated this place and it is truly a gem. Fabulous location where you can walk to dinner and to the harbor. Our room was very comfortable, with tons of space and a state of the art bathroom. Everything is first class, with delicious homemade breakfasts. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages. Just a great stay!

We had a wonderful week-long stay here! The house was absolutely gorgeous, and our room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. Sandra prepared everything we could possibly need and more! The location was perfect: we only had to walk a few steps to reach the numerous shops and restaurants on Ponsonby Rd; it was easy to get downtown by car or on foot; and it was a super quick drive to the highway for longer day trips. It was such a pleasure to come back after a day of exploring to relax and enjoy a glass of wine while admiring the stunning view of the city from the balcony. Best of all, Sandra had outstanding recommendations for local dining, shopping, and sightseeing! Each morning while we enjoyed a delicious freshly prepared breakfast, she chatted with us about our adventures from the previous day and gave us all the tips about where to go and what to do next. Several of our favorite sights and experiences from the trip were ones that she suggested. We are so grateful for the exceptional accommodations and extraordinary hospitality we found here!

A beautiful villa with great views of the city on a popular tree lined street. An easy walk up to Ponsonby to shops and cool cafes ! Also walking distance to viaduct and city. Greeted like a friend and made to feel at home and comfortable, a quiet and lux place to stay’ Delicious breakfast, all the food we like. Thank you Sandra and Doug .. a special place ! :)
