Everything. A beautiful period property in a quiet leafy suburb of Auckland. Only a short walk from Viaduct Harbour in one direction or vibey Ponsonby in the opposite direction, there are plenty bars and restaurants to choose from. Our spacious room had a direct view of the Sky Tower and parts of the harbour. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very well finished with a good sized shower and large bath. Leave your shampoo/conditioner, body wash and lotion at home, theirs is to die for. The delicious breakfast included a range of tropical fruits, low sugar granola cereals, yoghurt, fresh juices, as well as cooked breakfasts not to be missed. Most importantly, the hosts were both welcoming and attentive, making our stay extra special. Thank you!

Honestly can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Very stylish and exceptionally comfortable. Great location for both the city and local eateries. Breakfast was superb, as was the care taken to ensure that we had a really enjoyable stay.

Fabulously renovated classic old Auckland home perfectly located for exploring the city. Hosts were terrifically helpful and homey, breakfast was TOO good, and the bedroom was super comfortable, well-appointed, and generously supplied for early morning and late evening sustenance. We were not sure about a B&B in a city, but it turned out to be THE BEST way to start our tour of New Zealand.

Everything! Sandra and Doug were extremely hospitable. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the fireworks from the Skytower on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was great, and very accommodating. I would book it again in a heartbeat. If planning to go, book early because it’s so worth it. Close to bars and stores. Sandra and Doug made like a home away from home. It was a home run. Kim Fjelstad
