The location and accommodation are incredible and idyllic. The surroundings are wild, beautiful and on the door step. Great location for exploring the local area. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with really nice personal touches.

"Perfect get away for any couple!"

Beautiful location and perfect cottage for us. Wonderful views of the sea and the mountains and indescribable view of the stars at night. We even saw a faint view of the Northern Lights! Wish we had booked for longer and could take advantage of the hikes and tours that the hosts offer.

It's quite a drive to get there but well worth it!

We loved the Byre, such a cosy place to stay in a wild part of Scotland! The extra touches by the owner were fantastic and much appreciated. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was good. It is small but works very well for 2 or 3 adults. There is a single fold out bed if needed.
