"Cute Cabins"

Beautiful little cabins. Close to Becan and driving distance to Calakmul. Staff were friendly, helpful and provided complimentary breakfast. Facilities are basic but air-conditioned, fridge and everything you need.

Noise from the highway and train construction distracts a little from the tranquility of the surrounds.

The host was extremely kind giving us important info about the archeological site of calalkmul, which we wanted to visit. Even if leaving at dawn he provided us with some extras for breakfast

Bed a little to small for two people, the bathroom could be improved.

"We enjoyed Otoch Beek as a spot to visit the nearby ruins and wildlife watch."

The room was comfortable and had AC. The gardens around the cabinas are lovely and full of birds. It is conveniently located for visiting the ruins in Becan, Chicanna and Calakmul. We only had breakfast one morning because we left too early the other mornings. Breakfast was simple and got us going.

With the construction of the Maya Tren the highway is busy with truck traffic. Luckily the traffic subsides at night so the highway noise was not a distraction.

"Loud music until 3 am"

Very loud music until 3 am at a very short distance (there was a fiesta going on nearby… apartment should not be rented on that night) We had a problem with the toilet, nobody answered our call and WhatsApp message.

"Perfect house nearby Calakmul"

The rural context was very cute. In the shared garden there were chickens and cats. The staff is very friendly, the owner gave us good suggestions on the surroundings On the last day they prepared breakfast for us The room is spacious WiFi and AC work perfectly Location is perfect for an in between stop and for visiting Calakmul (NOTE please consider 2 hours of drive in the jungle are mandatory)
