The Wanderlust Guest House & Safari

First of all, room was EXACTLY like the photos, so place is reliable. Bed was comfy, room and toilet were clean, the building itself is nice and the terrace on the third floor has a good environment despite the restaurant was close due to off season. The staff was kind and Padam, who run the place, is a nice guy and will help you wherever you need. They offer pick up / drop off to railway station for 100 rupees, good price. We arrived at 4 AM and everything was sorted for us, thank you guys! Location is good, you can walk to every tourist place around the city, maybe the neighborhood itself is not the most beautiful but Jaisalmer is full of dust, cows, and rubbish saddly, so is normal. If you are looking for a good place with rasonable price with comfy rooms, this is your best option!

This is a great spot. A small haveli close to everything you need. The owner, Padam, is very attentive to requests. Roshan is a good guy that will see to your needs. Dear Rakesh is the hardest worker we’ve ever seen. Appears out of nowhere and always there to get another beer or a delicious omelette. The restaurant on the roof is the most relaxing space. This guesthouse also runs a well known camel safari, managed by the talented Sambu. Into the desert on camels for a meal cooked over an open fire, beds under the stars, breakfast next day and camel trek back. Magic! And great value.

The whole experience was super awesome, the rooms nice and clean, the rooftop restaurant super cozy, the location good and price reasonable... The best thing about Wanderlust though, by far, were the staff - everyone went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wishes, truly exceptional! And the camel safari tour with Wanderlust was just perfect too!

Great little guest house. The owner was welcoming, helpful and genuine, and so were the staff. We spent a lot of time on the lovely restaurant/lounge terrace where we could relax at any time of the day, have something to eat or drink and enjoy the view. Our room for 3 was comfortable, clean and nice. Good location, just minutes from the bustling streets, Havelis and restaurants. Highly recommended.
