Although they had previous bad reviews. We found the place to be very nice. The pool was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. The decor was very funky.

The shower was a hand held shower in a standing shower which was not easy to use. The toilet kept making flashing noises until I switched the water off to the toilet. These were really minor and certainly did not ruin our stay.

Overall, the place is ok. Needs an upgrade and doesn't exactly look as great as the pictures portrayed it.

Room 2 is up the stairs and doesn't have an ensuite bathroom. So the bathroom is right outside the room. Not nice when you're a person that needs the loo multiple times at night. The bathroom is limited to the bath only, as there's no showering allowed, because the shower head in the bathtub is not properly connected to the wall. Room 1 next door and you can hear the conversations from Room 1. The breakfast is substandard.

The bedroom was clean. Swimming pool clean and tidy

Shower has mould all over. The breakfast area smelled very musty and can do with a spring clean. Staff has no experience on how to deal with clients at all. Breakfast was dull as they serve the same breakfast every day. Cutlery and crockery was dirty. Day two returned to a room that was not tidied even though I placed the sign on the door the morning. Had to request toilet paper. One of their rules is no smoking in rooms but one of the cleaners smoked on the bedroom balcony and when I entered I could smell cigarette smoke in the bedroom. Will definitely not be returning

The bed was big and clean and comfortable.

It is difficult to explain, because the staff and management really tried hard, but the back rooms were really old and dilapidated.

We booked one of the smaller rooms and unfortunately found it to be quite noisy, as we could clearly hear guests in the adjoining room. One aspect that made us particularly uncomfortable was the presence of a door with a trellis gate inside our room. Looking through the keyhole allowed visibility into the neighbouring room, which raised privacy concerns. We also noticed a significant number of ants in the room, including on the bedside tables. Additionally, there were an excessive number of signs outlining rules and instructions throughout the property. While we understand the need for guidelines, the volume and placement of these notices created an atmosphere that felt more like a school hostel than a relaxing accommodation experience. Overall, the room itself was adequate and, despite the above points, our stay was still generally pleasant. As a final suggestion, further staff training focused on guest interaction and confidence may improve the overall experience, as some interactions felt awkward and uncomfortable.

There's nothing that I liked about the place,

The place is not clean and has a lingering scent. The issues reported are not dealt with and the caretaker didnt even welcome us. I didn't get value for money and it negatively affected my Langebaan experience. My house is far cleaner than this place and I don't even host paying customers.
