The balcony is great. Beautiful view of the harbour. Comfortable outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy the views.

Had to wait 45 minutes after check in time to get the keys with all of our stuff on the curb of a cafe. It was due to cleaning staff still working. I could have overlooked it but when we got in the place it wasn’t even that clean. The patio had piles of trash swept up including dirty cigarette butts. We saw a couple of bugs in the bed. I can’t confirm if they were bed bugs (they looked like them) but I didn’t find any other evidence while doing a closer inspection. We were only there for one night and the discovery was right before bed so there was nothing we could do but sleep and make sure to not bring our luggage into our house once getting home. Needless to say it’s a lot of paranoid clean up for us now. The air conditioner was insanely loud. We tried to keep it off because you couldn’t sleep or hear anyone when it was on but the street noise was also incredibly loud around the clock, so having the windows open to sleep was also not an option. With all these issues we got no sleep.

Excellent location, staff was super helpful and recommended a great place for gelato and for dinner. The only downside was the air conditioning, even at the lowest setting it did not cool the room sufficiently. Perhaps the machine needed maintenance? At any rate, we had a great stay there and I recommend it. And as a bonus you get to ride in the most interesting elevator in your life.

Great room and bathroom with ample space for a couple. The View from the corner balcony was also great! However, it was too hot to be outside on the balcony with the sun beating down on you.

The housekeeping guy was not very good. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were low to begin with. After the first day, I removed the body wash dispenser from the shower and placed it on the bathroom counter by the sink, so that it would be easily visible and accessible for him to check and refill. Nope, no luck on this one. On the second day, he only gave us one hand towel instead of two and, more importantly, he did not lower the sun shade to keep our room somewhat cool. The afternoon sun heats the patio glass doors which raises the room temperature by at least 10 degrees. Unfortunately, he pulled out the plastic key card that allows the air conditioner to remain on and maintain the temperature setting. Needless to say, after spending an entire day under the sun, we returned to our room feeling like we were in an oven. Bathroom floor were never mopped as the same three spots remained from the previous guest. It could have easily been taken out will a simple wiping of the floor. He needs to have a checklist to follow when cleaning a room. A supervisor should check to make sure that he has completed the cleaning list to a level of a 5 star hotel. The host was able to help us during the check-in process which was great but we did not see much of him much after that in our 5 day stay. WhatsApp communication was good but he should be more visible to the guests during their stay.

I was surprised to find two big bedrooms with each having huge balconies having the sea view. You can say it has one of the best locations in Salerno, great value for money and a really helpful host.

Interesting antique lift. Comfortable bed. Efficient aircon. Fridge in room. Spacious room. Good hairdryer. Very helpful staff.

Wardrobe too high: difficult to reach hangers unless very tall person! Soapdish shelf in shower also too high. View of sea difficult to access; we'd paid for room with sea view. Too few electrical sockets. Breakfast at Cafe Canasta basic and limited - croissants not great. No eggs available. Had to pay for 2nd cup of coffee.

The apartment was in a great location, it was clean, and Enzo was very helpful. He offered great suggestions of where to eat and things to see. His instructions to check in were very thorough but created a very nice welcome by meeting us and walking with us to the property. It wasn’t necessary but very appreciated.
