"It was a great place."

Cozy room Charming Great value Much nicer than similarly priced chain hotels Management very responsive. Offered to come over right away to address a problem, but we realized that it was not necessary.

Management did a poor job of snow removal in parking lot. Lots of melted snow turned to ice and no rock salt provided to us, Parking lots we visited run by other businesses were in much better shape

"Room was disappointing but Donner was not"

Grab n go breakfast was great. Hot tub was amazing

Room size was cramped. With four people we had no room to put our stuff. It was very cramped and I'd say the pics were misleading. Only 1 small shampoo bottle and no Kleenex

The location and the vibe. It is exactly what I needed, in the forest, quiet, cozy rooms...cabin type, with little fireplaces inside, big windows to see the snow outside.
