5 min drive to hobbiton which was great and what we were after. They have some cats that are friendly. They also have chickens which you get fresh eggs from !. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy inside and out. 3 great bedrooms with washing machine and dryer which helps.

20 min drive to the closest town but then it's right next to hobbiton. It's a compromise worth it.

"The best place we could have hoped for, wish we stayed longer."

This was the most wonderful accommodation! The location was perfect for Hobbiton and the countryside is idyllic. The space was perfect for our group of 6, lots of great books, maps, dvds and cozy seating and very clean. The breakfast of farm fresh eggs, butter, jams and coffee also unexpected and amazing. Also very friendly check in. Wish we had stayed longer.
