"Our bedroom was very pretty with a lovely view of the canal."

Location as very pretty, although without a car it is a bit cut off. However there is a bus stop nearby.

It was all lovely. We were made very welcome.

Julie war wirklich sehr freundlich und sehr herzlich. Das Zimmer war top sauber.

Das Bett ist sehr weich, was ich eigentlich sehr gerne mag, aber sobald mein Mann sich nur etwas bewegt hat, hat die Matratze wirklich fast gewackelt. Ich habe deswegen leider nicht gut geschlafen. Außerdem ist es sehr hellhörig. Wenn im Nachbarzimmer der Fernseher läuft, hört man das sehr.

Beautiful building and the location adjacent to a stream was restful and scenic . Tastefully decorated to a high standard. Host was lovely, very accommodating to our early arrival and helpful and friendly . Nice touches like a fridge we could use with fresh milk and spring water . Lovely sitting area and the dining room was equally lovely . I stayed in the double room with the private bathroom . Added luxuries like toiletries and everything you could need .

Bedroom was a little warm but it was extremely warm weather and I didn’t ask for a fan but I’m certain if I did I would have been given one . I opened the bedroom window , view of the stream and bird song was the only noise in the morning . Can’t fault the place

Friendly and welcoming host, lovely room and great breakfast. Position next to canal perfect for early morning walk..

Proximity of the motorway and railway… nothing owners can do about either but quite noisy!
