"A very enjoyable two night stay in the double room with private bathroom."

My room on the upper floor looked out on to the Lancaster Canal so I was able to watch a couple of deer on the bank opposite and have a narrowboat pass under the window! I had everything I needed with a bathroom along the corridor.

Maybe a shower in the bathroom would improve the facilities rather the very large bath. However, a shower is available for guests to use on the ground floor and if I had stayed longer I might have used it.

We had the most wonderful stay at Picket Post House Accommodation and absolutely loved every minute of it. The cottage has such a warm, homely vibe that made us feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. It truly felt like a home away from home. The facilities were faultless — everything was thoughtfully presented and well maintained. The setting is simply stunning, with the most scenic and gorgeous surroundings that made our stay even more special. It’s peaceful, charming, and perfectly suited to anyone who appreciates that cosy cottage atmosphere. This place is completely right up our street, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend Picket Post House to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable getaway.

the location was excellent , the continental breakfast was more than sufficient and our bedroom was so well presented that it puts other hotels into the shade

they bath towels were hard and needed to be washed with a softner , even although the water is soft it doesn,t stop washing being hard

Lovely greeting from Julie, relaxed feeling of the place..Lovely decor...nice continental breakfast loved the croissants!

Car parking, could be an issue when people don't park well Leaves no room to park up larger car and manoeuvre it.

This is the most wonderful place to stay - we can't recommend it enough! Such a sweet little place and the breakfast included was phenomenal. We will definitely be back to stay, so glad that we found this little gem.
