Sky Mountain Café with seaview

What an amazing place to stay! The view from the terrace is stunning, you are surrounded by nature. Place is very quiet. Only short walk down to the beach and some restaurants/cafes. The room was clean and cool. The host and his family are super friendly! Would definitely stay here again

Sri Lankan breakfast would’ve been great to have as an option

Chanu is an amazing host, supported by his mum and dad - they are the warmest and most welcoming people and make you feel like part of the family. The room is a decent space, perfectly comfortable. We were in standard room (only fan, no AC) so the nights did get pretty warm but the fan makes it manageable. The food is delicious and very good value. Chanu’s mum makes an amazing Sri Lankan rice and curry. When she’s not in the kitchen, Chanu’s fried rice or kottu is also delicious and such generous portions! The place is in a great location - 5 mins walk to coconut beach, 20 min walk to Midigama beach (free sunbeds) and 10 min Tuktuk to Weligama for surfing. Chanu kindly took us to Weligama himself for our surf lessons 🙏🏻 Recommend!

(We only booked for one night, but we wanted to stay another day, so we asked the owner and stayed there for another day.)

Incredible view over the ocean, short walk down the hill to the beach, super nice host, room was clean and spacious. We would have loved to stay longer!

View is amazing!! Very clean in comperation with some another accommodations wich we had during our vacation. Owner and the whole family is really a big plus regarding accommodation . People with big heart. Nevertheless to mention the beach wich is next to accommodation. Just perfection!

Everything was amazing

Such a lovely place with a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. Such a nice family! The room we had didn’t have airco but just a ventilator. Can be a little warm but you have doors on both sides so you can easily make it cooler

It was very peaceful, not much road noise. The view was beautiful where you had breakfast/ lunch.

The family are amazing, they go above and beyond to make your experience an enjoyable one. And the monkeys in the morning coming down for there bananas!

Nothing

It’s one of those spots that will make you emotional about leaving and as soon as you do, you are thinking about coming back. It’s just perfect in its own sense! The place, the family that runs it, the view over the ocean while you sitting at the breakfast table the amazing Sri Lankan food you get for dinner when the mum cooks, the monkeys that are fighting in the trees, the sound of the waves you fall asleep to. I hope I can come back sooner than later
