Sky Mountain Café with seaview

Highly recommend staying at Sky Mountain Cafe. The property is beautiful, super close to the beach and not far to get into Weligama. Chanu and his family are such lovely, genuine people. Thank you!

We loved our week long stay. The room, location, views, breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Chanu and his family are the loveliest people and were perfect hosts. Great surf spots just a short walk down the hill. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Couldn't stay longer

Omg I loved it here! The location tucked away from the main road, on top of the hill, with views to coconut beach and hammocks everywhere. You can walk in 2 min to the beach to the several restaurants or sunsets bars. Chanu and his family are welcoming and very helpful with any need you have. Incredible place to relax

We stayed a total of three nights, we had a great time! The rooms are comfortable and there are great views from the restaurant terrace. Also, because the place is on top of a hill there is a very welcome cool breeze. The breakfast was tasty and abundant, the people were kind and helpful. If we come back to Sri Lanka we would definitely come back here!

The location is absolutely amazing. The rooms spacious and well decorated.

For the money an AC would be nice.

We booked a room for two nights and regretted we didn't stay longer after we left... Especially because we felt so welcomed by Chanu and his mother, already after two days we were sad to day goodbye! They are lovely people who take great care of their guests as well as their guesthouse. The place is located on a hill and has a beautiful view. In a few minutes you can walk down to the beach, so you're close but also at a quiet place where you can relax (and also work if you have to, their Wifi was very decent!). Breakfast is included and from what I understood, on some nights Chanus Mother cooks, we ate a delicious fish curry. You can sit on a terrace with a few tables and hammocks. The room had a comfortable double bed with a mosquito net and a ventilator on the ceiling. We asked beforehand if it's okay if we bring our 3 year old daughter and it was fine ;) She also loved it, especially because there is a monkey family who comes by a few times per day that you can feed with bananas ;) Chanu was very helpful and organized a scooter for us and a driver to take us to our next guesthouse. I totally recommend staying here and we hope we'll come back!
