Sky Mountain Café with seaview

The accommodation is run by a wonderful family who really care about their guests. The local breakfast is absolutely delicious and you have a truly amazing view of the Coconut surf spot. I just had to come back again and again during my six weeks in Sri Lanka because I loved it so much!

Beautiful view, simple but good accommodation. Easy walk down to surf and wonderful hosts.

Only some of the rooms have aircon.

I chose to have a massage at the property which I was offered for 3000rp. The man who did the massage was very inappropriate and I spoke up a few times as his advances were not appropriate.

This is a magical place! No other words can describe this place better. The view, the rooms, the common area, the sounds of nature - absolutely wonderful. But what makes this place even more outstanding are the people. Chanu is not only the most lovely and caring host, but he goes above and beyond to help you with anything you need. He organized surfing lessons and trips for us and made sure that everything went smoothly. His mom is the absolute sweetest and welcoming lady. She cooked exceptionally good dinner for us, even surprising us each time with different variations of vegetable rice and curry. Besides the wonderful food and location, this family makes you feel like home. Their kindness has left a lasting impression and deeply touched our hearts. Saying farewell was honestly heartbreaking. We hope to be able to come back some day.

Lovely place. The family who owns it is really kind and welcoming. The view from the terrace is amazing. The breakfast was really good.

Sky mountain just really is just a little place of heaven. The view from there looking over the ocean was gorgeous; the breakfast was incredible; Chanu and everyone else there was just absolutely lovely and so helpful. The location was perfect, there were many restaurants around and then we hired a scooter to go further into Weligama and onto Mirissa which were only about 10 minutes drive away. We loved our stay in sky mountain.. I’d definitely recommend when going. Can’t wait to come back some day when I can :)

The location is just amazing. We loved the view at breakfast and the nature surrounding the place. In the mornings you often see monkeys coming by! The atmosphere is very relaxed and warm from the first moment - you immideatly feel at home. The "homebeach" is very close and has the best sunset views. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would have loved to stay longer!

Nothing. Just keep in mind that there is no AC, so it can get a bit warmer at night;)

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The view is stunning and the host is extremely pleasant.

Stunning View!! So relaxing to hear and watch the sea as you wake up and fall asleep. The owners of the property Chanaka & his mum makes the stay so much more different, making sure we have everything we need, super friendly and also by recommending us with close by bathing spots, places for seafood cravings and always with a big smile. Scrumptious breakfast and really worth the money to stay here! Not to forget the friendly doggo, Pompous 🐶
