South Lodge House

Loved the location - so peaceful and relaxing especially when sitting in the garden . We were made very welcome and the little extras were thoughtful. The environment and dining area was so different.

Found our room was too small for people of our age - especially as the bed was up against the wall.

Nice quiet location. Nice grounds, very dog friendly. Owner very helpful and accommodating.

Shared bathroom.

The breakfast was superb, and the host was very helpful & accommodating. The small fridge in the room with an excellent large garden view & garden seating & tables if the weather was fine.

Although it was a budget room I would have preferred some form of desk to use a computer, and plugs were in short supply. Parking was tight if there were other guests.

The room was small. Blinds/curtains were see through. Window shield was torn. The adjoining door to the room next door, (our rooms door) which lead to the mixed bathroom and next door room, the lock was broken. The door could be open at all given time. This was reported and we were informed it would be fixed but wasn’t. We reported this immediately and again in the morning. This time we were told that the lock were cheap and that she was aware of this
