Fantastic hospitality top class accomodation delicious breakfast

Generous space. Clean, comfortable , quiet, Annie is clearly a collector. Felt like staying in someone’s home. Not neutral hotel room.

Lovely relaxing environment, and looking out into the garden. Super comfortable beds with a surperb breakfast. Thank you for being accomodating with the late breakfast, really appreciated. Easy to get to and would stay again. Have recommended to family and friends.

We loved the picture window view we had of the beautiful garden from the sunroom. The breakfast was also amazing!

Annie and Peter are a friendly couple - relaxed, but professional, and well organised. The enchanting units are very comfortable, with everything we might possibly need. Better than the photos. The location was ideal, close to Warkworth town, easy access to Matakana & the scenic coastal areas. There's a great hot seafood place directly across the road, ideal for a lazy dinner after swimming at the beach. Breakfasts are superb! The chocolates and licorice allsorts in the fridge were a delightful and welcome touch too. We will be back again!

Being close to the main highway, you might hear some noise from trucks passing at night, but wasn't a problem for us.

An awesome B and B. Accomodation was really nice with comfy bed and very clean. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and at what time. Timing next morning was spot on and the food was great! I only regret that we didn't stay any longer..

This is one of the best places we have stayed in. It was in a perfect and gorgeous location, it had absolutely everything thing you could possibly need and the hosts were so lovely, providing a fabulous breakfast of our choice. It was summer when we stayed and there was a super deck for al fresco dining. The bed was huge and awesomely comfy. All super clean and well maintained. Would go back in a snap - but imagine many people now know about this gem and it will be very well booked out so if you get a chance snap it up!

The owners attention to detail was exemplary and the most important aspect for me is the bed - it was massive and very comfortable - this is not often the case in many other places of accomodation. I would return simply for this. Very generous with hospitality and consideration for so many small and thoughtful details about the place. The owners may want to consider lifting the prices for a night's stay as it was excellent value for money.

The only detraction - which couldn't be helped - was the situation of the cottage we were in near the main road which meant that you could hear the traffic from time to time (particularly when outside) when it was busy. In such a created serene environment we wanted to appreciate it all without having the vehicle noise interfere. Double glazing of windows could be considered?
