"Exceptional"

Grosses Zimmer mit grosser Dusche. Die Wohnung hat einen schönen Blick auf die Felder. Zum Frühstück gab es allerlei leckeres. Das Auto konnten wir auf dem Hof abstellen . Sehr abgelegenes kleines Dorf, mit viel Ruhe und Natur.

Die Wegbeschreibung war super, aber die Straßen sind sehr eng.

Jaye, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an added bonus. Nice selection of bread, cereals, yoghurts, pastries & spreads, including marmite! The village was interesting. I did nt eat at the Pub but it looked welcoming. Despite a power cut for a few hours one night, I enjoyed my stay.

Coming from Spain where its very warm, I did find the room temperature a bit cool.

"A lovely night’s rest ready to explore Exmoor."

High field House has a wonderful view. The room was spacious and newly decorated. The shared kitchen/breakfast room was really well appointed. Jaye had left milk, fruit, cereals, yogurts, fresh bread and conserves for our breakfast which we could eat at our leisure. We were able to prepare our evening meal here which was a welcome change from eating out. Checking in was easy as a key safe system is in place and works perfectly.

Very comfortable space, clean and modern. The room is huge and there is plenty of space to stretch out. The rooms share a common area with fridge, microwave, sink, utensils etc so you feel quite self sufficient. Really nice breakfast. The local area is very nice, super quiet and peaceful, and there are a lot of interesting things to see close by like the Valley of the Rocks, Lynton, etc. Jaye was really nice and had some great advice on things to do locally.
