Very comfy bed

Comfy room above the pub which suited us fine for this trip. very hospitable host and loved the pub which we took full advantage of. Contiental breakfast that was ok delivered to the room. No option for a traditional breakfast served in the dining area which would have been nice. All in all a great stay and we would return.

Carpets are dirty, place needs cleaning Shower needs attention before someone gets scolded! Either scorching hot or cold

I was told there was a quiz till 9/30 no problem , then the music started , my room directly above speakers . At 10/30 I walked out and told them why and slept in my van . No feedback from hotel , I emailed them , shocking . They provided ear plugs in the room , should have left on seeing them . In today's world selling a country pub as a B&B in a lovely village , you just don't expect this .

The room was good , bed comfortable, bathroom excellent.

The pub itself was cold . It has a log burner which was unlit and lacked atmosphere. The menu was not inspiring but we found a great venue in the next village. Music was playing very loud under our room till late … their answer was to provide ear plugs … really !

Great welcome from the staff. Nice location in a small rural village. Lovely food from the business next door.

The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Lovely soft towels but very tiny, took a while to dry after a shower. Plenty of tea, coffee etc in the room.

There was a disco going on downstairs which we weren’t informed of when booking. It was so loud & we were unable to sleep until this finished at nearly midnight. Ear plugs were provided next to the bed, which I thought was a bit of a cheek to be honest…felt like …put them in & don’t moan about the noise. A continental breakfast was left outside our bedroom door the following morning (nice touch) however they only left 1 croissant despite us ordering 2. Only having 1 croissant between 2 people is not a good start to the day. No staff about to query it with either.
