"Be prepared"

Location and parking allocation were good

aspects of the room fell short of the expectation, decor was nice but mixed with water damaged ceiling and walls thin enough I could hear people breathing in the adjacent room meant I woke up as people came and left the property. Every movement from other residents was amplified 10 fold.

"BnB was in the ideal location for us but the twin room was disappointing for the overnight stay."

The BnB was looked lovely on the outside and clear signs for the entrance for cafe and BnB entrances. The fridge in the corridor with the fresh milk was a nice touch for the guests

There is no reception area for check in or check out and no instructions email when reserving your room either. Room was clean but leak stain above the window and blind didn’t open. Problem with one of the single bed and one guest had to move mattress onto the floor. Central heating in the room was not working properly. Trying to fill the kettle with water from bathroom taps was difficult due to the sink depth. Unclearly why the cafe wasn’t open on a Sunday in case we wanted to stay for breakfast and why this happened isn’t included in the price.

"It was a very pleasant stay and the room was large and very comfortable - breakfast was great."

The breakfast was delicious - it was specially made for me as I have some allergies and truly super - I had smoked salmon, avocado and bacon on sour-dough with oatmillk hot chocolate - my husband had the full English and both were thoroughly enjoyed!

We had to ask for one extra large towel as only 1 in bathroom but this was quickly remedied, and another brought to the room. We also struggled with the remote control, which didn't work - we were told to download the app but gave up - which was fine, we read our books!

"Lovely B&B"

Very clean, nicely decorated, nice - sized rooms , rooms with different decor, comfortable bed. Nice touch with extra water in large bottles/milk/tea/coffee placed in communal corridor for guests to help themselves if required.

I had two double rooms booked. One room only had one set of glass and cup, no bottled water.

"Security is not good enough. We arrived late and were told to get the keys from a lock box. No key in the lock box. Same"
