Lots of space, great location. Loved the connecting rooms - very convenient for our group of 2 families. Could have used more towel racks/hooks, glassware and paper products (tissues, toilet paper, paper towels)

"110% Approval Rating"

10.0

Was attending a conference at the convention center (.2m away) and this was closer and less expensive than the full service hotels I checked. Virtually-staffed properties aren't for everyone but are perfect for me...particularly when traveling for business. Don't expect your room to be serviced daily and there's obviously no room service...though there's a great coffee shop attached at the lobby level that offers several breakfast options. Rooms are laid out as suites; bedroom is separate from living area, full kitchen including microwave, 4-burner stove/oven, dishwasher, dishes/glassware etc, fridge w/ice maker...mine also had a full-sized (stacked) washer/dryer (wash pods in kitchen). Showed video of the place to my wife and now she's insisting I take her along next time...would definitely stay here again! Walls are solid concrete which means you cannot here your neighbors. The bedroom is separate, no windows, which makes it extremely quiet and dark! It also has a ceiling fan if you like a little background hum as I do...Please do note however that this property does require 100% payment upon booking;if your plans are likely to change, be careful. No cancellation refunds when I booked. Those are the rules and do not affect my 110% rating for this property. Well done guys!!

"Lovely apartment in a great location to enjoy a unique city."

10.0

Apartment was roomy with great facilities (washer and dryer). All appliances were clean. Bed was very comfy. Ironworks building overall was really cool, period features, high ceilings etc. Owners gave us an extended checkout so we could enjoy the last day before an evening flight home. Obvs didn't have anyone moving in on the day we left, but they didn't have to and it was really appreciated.

Being Picky - 1. It's not a quiet area and the windows are single pane, but its New Orleans... get a helmet. 2. Kitchen could do with a chopping board. 3. Takes a while for the hot water to get to the shower Again, being very picky.

Good: Condo/apartment-style rental with kitchen and washer/dryer provided very good value. Unit was clean on arrival and well-decorated. Location is convenient to transit and good dining options are available a short walk away. Room-to-room sound transmission seemed very low. Elevator and other building infrastructure seemed well-maintained. Not-so-good: Noise from the street was definitely very present in our second-floor unit. Unit was very humid when we arrived. Windows are single-pane, wood frame (possibly original to the building) and do not lock--this probably contributed to both the humidity issues and the amount of street noise. The bedroom is not really large enough for the king bed; a queen would be a better fit in there. As-is, there wasn't a good place to put our suitcases down. Parking is around back of the building in a very weird surface lot; cost for that lot was $25/day with come-and-go privileges. Overall, none of the bad items outweighed the good; this was a very good stay, and I'd recommend it. There are just some things to be aware of.
