USUSIt was beautiful and cozy, the food was delicious. People were so friendly too.

Everything was great there was just one issue, good luck falling asleep. Roosters crowing all through the night and dogs barking like crazy. To the point of it being comical how anyone in the whole town would ever be able to sleep at all.

GBAmazing wooden cabanas, spacious and comfortable and full of character. We went in January and they had fairy lights all over - magical! Very helpful and friendly staff, even making soup for my poorly husband. And sitting round the fire with other guests made a great end to the day. Great location for Angangueo and the butterflies.
I was cold overnight (January)- could do with good quilts on the beds. Both hot water and Internet were slow in the cabanas. Kitchen closed at 5pm.

There was no heat in the cabins, and it was very cold... below 38 during the night. There was no hot water.... as I mentioned, it was very cold! The lighting is poor. No bed side lighting. For the cost of the cabin, I was expecting way more.
USUSThe cabins were picturesque. The cabins were decorated with Christmas lights and had a nice garden in front of each. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets.
The directions to the cabin were not correct. The cabins themselves were not insulated. Several areas in the walls and doors had large gaps that let in cold air from outside. The door locking mechanism was a sliding bar. No way to lock the cabin if you stepped out. Very minimal inside with no side tables beside the beds and no kettle or other amenities provided. Internet was spotty, which meant you could not watch the tv since it only had Roku. Very cold when we stayed so you could only stay under the bed covers to keep warm. The price paid for the cabin was not worth the value received.
