ITRustic place to stay. Clean newish cabins with a great staff. Great jump off point to see the monarch butterflies at two different sanctuaries.
HUThe owner and staff members were kind. The wooden houses look nice, all the furnitures inside are also wood what give a nice atmosphere. As it was xmas period, there were nice light decoration.
Unfortunately, during the arrival day, we could not reach the accommodation by phone. The way/road till the accommodation is quite bad, also unfortunately we arrived already after it got dark and the way was quite concerning, even for my Mexican family members, but in the end, it was OK. As the accommodation is in the forest area, it was so so cold, not only outside, but in the wooden house as well (the gaps between the wooden logs were filled with silicon, no proper insulation!!) There was only one!! small electric heater, what did not do any difference. There was no proper lock on the entrance door, we were using a piece of wood as a wedge.
USUSUSUSUSThe owner made us feel like one of the family. Such a beautiful and joyful place.
USVery peaceful, everyone wanted to be sure we were taken care of. Lucy, Louis and Patricia and another young lady were all very friendly and wanted us to be happy.
It was cold but received two heaters to get warm.

No heating so rather cold in the chalet. Waited for hot water to shower but none came so very cold shower. Very very expensive stay, especially that no breakfast is included for that price.
NOLovely place and over- cometed (kitchen) personnel going above and beyond duty/hours.
Distance to centre is far and requires car/taxi to city centre, restaurants, hikes or other transportation. Extra trip to one of the sanctuaries arranged on situ’s price was not given ahead of time and was ‘delivered’ by an employee via the owner.
