Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences

The location is great. The property is quite pretty in places. The bell staff on the golf carts are great.

The check-in staff are horrible. I booked a luxury suite but had to demand that I be assigned to the room I booked upon check-in at 8:30 pm. He was rude, confrontational and insulting as he tried to give me an obstructed view small room when it was clear that was NOT what I booked 7 months ago on June 3 when I stayed at the resort previously. The resort was NOT full, it was not even half full. I was staying for 7 nights and paying more than $2,200 for the week but had to fight to be given a room with a view of the water. The prices at the restaurants, coffee shops and tiendas are outrageous. Plus, they add 30% to your bill for tax and service so a $26 cheese quesadilla quickly becomes $34. Soda is $8 before tax. Quality??Chicken Mole was 2 tiny drumsticks with skin and bones covered in mole sauce for $38 + 30% tax (over $50). The filet mignon was acceptable but very expensive and tiny. With all of the fabulous resorts and condos in Cabo San Lucas, this resort is obviously trying to gouge the few customers who stay here. We’ve been coming to Cabo for more than 15 years and have never experienced the price gouging for poor quality food that we had here. We ate off location for 6 days.

The staff at the bar and restawurants were friendly and helpful

The staff at reception were rude and dismissive. I lost an hour of my first day to checkin, then had to listen to 25 minutes of sales pitches before being taken to a room that hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. The next room we were taken to did not have the bed we asked for bust having lost tw and a half hours of our weekend away settled on it. Then the bell. Boy took the keys with him. On departure we were charged a bunch of extras despite being all inclusive and then told we couldn't get a taxi that we had ordered because they made no money from it. So we had to pay $12 for a hotel taxi to take us 1km to the main road. That driver was also rude. The first and last impressions of this otherwise lovely place, ruined a weekend away. When you are paying almost $500 a night, you expect better.

Change room 3 times due to water coming out of the faucet is brown unpacked twice it’s a hustle /lots of flies in the eating area

There was a misunderstood in the register with one of your staff call Jazmín she told us about allinclusive for 3 days, and end up being something else. Even though. She made a mistake she didn’t confront the mistake in front with the manager Mauricio , and we found out that he was just new in the position . and Jazmin kept argue to us no good customer service, remember customer is always right

The art, the location, the service people and the views. Lovely place to visit

I have to get out one night before Because the pillows were making me allergy. They explained me was because of the wind... yjey refused to use their own transportation to give me a ride to a different hotel. They didn't find a different hotel for me BTW. Tje manager wasn't professional and they justbtold me to talk with booking to have some money back. Every night was imposible for me to sleep because the bas smell of humidity in the pillows. Bad treatment from the receptionist and the manager. For those type in hotels they are usually very professional and they always try to compensate in some way.

The accommodations and food was good. Most of the staff were nice as well.

The real estate/time share was imposing, deceitful and time consuming. Not a good first impression. It was not as described - it was not a tour, the presentation was more than 60-90 minutes (entire time was 4 hours).

Friendly staff, beautiful views, & cleanliness.

Long wait times for food & beverages & the bell boys took long to bring the carts to us.
