Lumina at Cardinal San José del Cabo

Excellent service and communication from the building's concierge and the owners. Thoughtful touches throughout - lovely body lotion in the bathroom, coffee and all the appliances we needed in the kitchen.

The second, pull out bed was uncomfortable

We had an excellent stay at Luminar in Los Cabos. The entire team – including the staff from Cardinal Living – was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home throughout our stay. I could stay here forever! Barbara was particularly attentive and responded immediately to any requests. All appliances in the apartment worked perfectly, and having both a washing machine and dryer available was very convenient, allowing us to pack lighter. The rooftop pool featured very comfortable seating areas, the water was excellent. Parking spaces in the underground garage were directly available for our rental car, which made parking very convenient. To sum it up, I will gladly book this apartment again and am already looking forward to my next visit to Los Cabos.

The regulation of the hot water was somewhat inconvenient, as it only seemed to switch between “very hot” and cold. In addition, when we arrived at the apartment, the floor and the towels were not cleaned very well, contrasting the always clean and very fresh smelling entrance hall. Even if it means paying a small additional fee for cleaning, improvements should be made in this area.

The rooftop pool was lovely

Maintenance was poor. The air conditioning was broken and made a very loud noise that wasn’t fixed until the next day. The lock broke on our last night and we we were locked out for over an hour. The management told us we would be refunded a portion of our costs because it but they did not follow through.

Perfect location, in the old city center and ~20min walk to the beach. Spacious and clean apartment with all necessary amenities. Beautiful rooftop pool and seating area with a stunning 360 view over the old city, mountains and sea. We live in SJD and booked for friends and family who all loved it. Highly recommended.
