Lumina at Cardinal San José del Cabo

Close to center of San Jose del Cabo, nice rooftop pool, size of room and cleanliness.

1. Excessive emails/messages from hosts with sometimes repeated information, sometimes conflicting information and sometimes not taking into consideration items previously agreed to. 2. Even though we had a parking spot reserved well before arriving, since no further instruction were given we assumed that parking would be obvious upon arrival. However upon arrival it was unclear where we had to park. Since there was no one at reception (around 7:30 PM) it took a fair amount of time messaging through WhatsApp to determine where the parking lot was, how to access the parking lot and which space was reserved for us. 3. There could be more hooks in the bathrooms to hang up towels.

The property was great location. The rooftop swimming pool was amazing! The person at the front desk was very helpful.

The shower was awful. It looked great on the pictures but we were never able to get consistent water temperature. Too hot to freezing cold. The instant hot water heater would just go out for no reason. We had 1 water glass and 1 wine glass only. They added more after complaining but that was 50% of our 2 night stay. There is also a lot of road noise and the apartment is very closed in. Only window onto the street is in the bedroom.

The host was very responsive to our questions and our needs. The building is immaculate with roof top swimming pool. The apartment was a good size with a wonderful balcony facing beautiful palm trees. Can't wait to return.

Location was great-close to everything. You will need to rent a car to get to the swimmable beaches. The studio was well equipped. The bed was comfy, and it was really nice having access to laundry. Please utilize the rooftop pool. It has the best view of the town. It also seems like social hour up there around 500. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

We had some issues with hot water (had to run the kitchen faucet before you could shower). The hot water went out several times. The staff were responsive and friendly and it was easy to communicate any issues. The wifi also went out and as a back up we were put onto a non-secure line. This too was remedied. Overall-I wouldn't say these were real problems, just inconveniences. One other thing that is not a problem, rather a suggestion would be to provide some non-glass containers for the pool area :)

The condo itself was beautiful and the location couldn’t be better. Lots of shopping and restaurants
