Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Beach is very rocky which makes it really hard to swim. There is a lot of walking from the room to the beach and to the other restaurants such as the steak house. You constantly have to wait for the tram/bus to take you from one location to the other.

Hotel Mousai is an amazing hotel. It was so clean and pristine. The grounds were beautiful and lush. It felt as though Hotel Mousai thought of everything you could want in a hotel stay. Room: 5 stars The room was very spacious and beautiful. The mini bar was always well stocked. Our balcony had an amazing view of the ocean and the mountains. The hammock and hot tub were perfect to end the night in or watch the sunset. The room came with an iPad that controlled the lights, drapes (A for the blackout drapes) and music. We loved that the room came with a speaker system. You could Bluetooth your own music or play music already loaded onto the iPad. Most nights we would come back to the room and the beds would be turned down, lights would be dimmed, and soft music playing. It was a lovely touch and Thank you to Luz for taking care of our room all week. The bidet if you’ve never tried it, is great! Food: 5 stars The food was delicious everywhere we went. From Dao, Bocados, Blanca Blue it was 5 stars always. Even the food by the pool was delicious. Often times, food at an all inclusive is not the best but this food was absolutely delicious. Staff and service: 4 stars The staff was so friendly and accommodating everywhere we went. Omar at the pool was the best. Carlos our butler helped us with all our reservation needs. The only downside was the concierge trying to convince us to attend their demonstration. It felt pushy at times. Besides that, this hotel was hands down the best

Our stay at hotel mousai was absolutely horrible. We planned our stay of 4 nights hoping to have a relaxing stay and Hotel Mousai. Our room was dirty for the entire stay. We called for room service multiple times but they never showed up. We had 3 towels for 4 nights. Imagine going to a resort with pool and don’t have towels. We had to bring our towels from the pool area!! Not to mention our terrible experience at the steak house. I never experienced such a thing. The manager at the steak house who named “Ruben” refused to served us properly. I have allergies to shrimp and mentioned it first thing to the waiters and staff before even sitting down at the table. First of all they refused to take our order for steaks and said we’d bring you whatever we want!! Then they served us a platter instead of a seafood including SHRIMP!! After we told the manager Rubin, that we didn’t ask for seafood, specifically no shrimp he sair this is what it is and they are not taking orders anymore so we left pissed and starving!!! Never will be back.

**Title: Terrible Experience at Hotel Mousai** I recently stayed at Hotel Mousai for four nights, and it was absolutely horrible. Our room was dirty throughout our stay, and despite multiple calls for room service, no one ever showed up. We were provided with only three towels for the entire stay, which is unacceptable at a resort with a pool—we had to bring towels from the pool area! Additionally, our experience at the steakhouse was incredibly frustrating. The manager, Ruben, was unprofessional and unhelpful. I have a shrimp allergy, which I communicated to the staff before ordering. Instead of taking our steak orders, they insisted on bringing us whatever they wanted, and we ended up with a seafood platter that included shrimp. When we pointed this out to Ruben, he dismissed our concerns and said they wouldn't take any more orders. We left the restaurant upset and hungry. I would not recommend Hotel Mousai based on this experience. Never will I return.

I would never stay at this hotel again. From start to finish, it was a deeply disappointing experience. Upon arrival after a long flight, it took over an hour to check in because there were only two receptionists, both of whom were clearly new and inexperienced. When we finally got to our room, we found hair in the bathroom sink. That same evening, I noticed black footprints on the bed sheets. Shockingly, it took the staff two full days to replace them. The dining experiences were even worse. The restaurant staff didn’t provide menus, citing a preset menu for our group, which severely limited our options. At the Chinese restaurant, they didn’t bring enough main courses, leaving many of us unsatisfied. The Japanese restaurant was marginally better, but the steakhouse was an absolute disaster. At the steakhouse, the staff served one steak to be shared among the group, despite everyone wanting different temperatures. Worse, the steak was cold and overcooked. Instead of addressing our concerns, they kept bringing out chicken and shrimp, which we didn’t want. The manager, “RUBEN,” was incredibly rude. When one of my friends requested a properly cooked steak, he flat-out refused, saying, “No more food. We’ve served enough.” This was supposed to be a luxurious stay, and we paid a premium expecting quality service. Instead, it was an utter disaster. I’m especially embarrassed because I invited a newlywed friend to join us, traveling all the way from Dubai to Puerto Vallarta.
