We were there in Dec 2024, to be honest love the enviroment very calm, but the Rooms need attention, need to be updated in Pictures on web site they look so nice and high in but not what you realy see as you arrive not worth the pay and the stay. As well you cant leave the Resort with out being Questioned were are you going they think you are going to do an Invite Invitation to another Hotel to explore and they question you "But Why " ? you are there to Travel EXPLORE not to be help Hosige and be Questioned why are you leaving there Resort it can even be you going to Booking you did for an Event and you will still be Questioned . To be Honest I will never stay here any more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We booked the nicest room they offered and were expecting what was pictured but were very disappointed. We should have believed the reviews. We don't normally write bad reviews but thought we should help inform other travelers so maybe they will not get disappointed like us. It was definitely a bad way to start our vacation. Another couple were having the same issue at the same time as us. The Sian Kaan area is supposed to be VIP treatment but was anything but. My wife likes a drink with milk or cream in it but the bartender said they didn't have any so pick something else. My wife had to go to another bar to get a container of milk and bring it to the bartender. They ran out of Kahlua liqueur (which is my wifes favorite drink and made in Mexico) They did not get another bottle of Kahlua while we were there (we went to Tulum and bought 1L for 200 pesos). ALL of the pools were very cold and we only spent about 15 minutes in them total over a week. Most of the pools are in poor condition with tiles or cement finish falling off. 'Adult' pool in is a main pathway and only has 8 loungers. There is virtually no beach left in front of this hotel (hotel pictures are from many years ago), you have to walk over to the next hotel. They must tell all the employees to say 'pleasure' after you thank them but you can easily tell they are only doing it because they have to, there were only a few employees who smiled. This is so different from what we normally experience in Mexico.

We booked saan kan mastersuite thru expedia when we checked in they stated they were remodeling and we couldnt get that room. Which was a lie found out the day of our check in the rooms were over sold and some people got those rooms. We got a lower category room jr suite that was super outdated but the biggesr issue it was dirty the bathroom and shower walls were dirty and were not cleaned in the 5 nights we were there. The the door to outside deck was broke, the bathroom glass door didnt work there were blood stain on the bed sheet and ball of tape inside the duvet. The rugs had white powder on them they were dirty. We never got shampoo cond body wash refills till the 4th night when we had to ask for them at front desk. Those were all the issues with the oudated room. The food at restaurants were horrible drinks were watered down. The hotel had leaks the restaurants had towels on window seals due to leaking. Overall the hotel it self and restaurants were horrible I would not stay here ever again. The only positive thing this hotel has was the beach and some staff. I would like to recognize Lilian at concierge for trying to be helpful and was nice. The person who checked us in was rude and tried shut my husband up when we vocalized that we were upset that we got a lower room catergory then what we paid for. Which is theonly reason why we chose this hotel. Due to rooftop room

After 3 consecutive days of going to the front desk and telling them my wifi wasn’t working and then being told “it must be your phone” even though it worked throughout the rest of the resort restaurant, in the water etc. I stopped going to them knowing I was pretty much going to be ignored. Try going 5 + days plus in todays world in a foreign country without service. Having to get up and talk out on the outskirts, no privacy etc.patio had slacks that was about to collapse when you walk on them very unstable. The reason for atleast 3 stars Miramar and Miramar terrazzo… food and service was excellent.. the only restaurant I would eat from . Buffett was hit or miss.. so last few days was Miramar no matter how long the wait was…more kid friendly than adult friendly unless you drink like a fish, no other real activities besides in the pool or the water. Nice views though, enjoyed the hammock. In all besides front desk and some updates needed on room etc it was ok.

Great staff. Wonderful drinks (best out of all my Mexico trips!) loved being able to see fish right in the ocean at the beach. Though it is a smaller resort. Buildings are worn out a fair bit. That was the biggest downside for me.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this property was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We ordered a king ocean view suite, there was no view and they had two double beds pushed together they were different heights and made up separately! My coffee maker never worked, even after multiple requests to get a new one. Our shower leaked tons of water into the room, causing us to use towels to mop up our bathroom daily. The ceiling leaked in our bathroom as well as right outside our room, causing the room to smell horrible the entire time. The ONE outlet we had in our bathroom area did not work, this was brought up multiple times with no response or fix. They do not offer airport transportation to or from Tulum. The food options were very limited and the staff had very little knowledge of WHAT they were serving us. I would also like to note that they water down their draft beers and cocktails! This resort was not what we expected, they missed the mark by a long shot, I only wish I could get my time back.
