XP Tulum

The hotel is amazing. The room was clean and had some of utensils, we could cook. The key was in a lock box and we got the code a few hours before so it was easy to get there. The hotel is located 10 minutes walking from the main street with restaurants and everything. We stayed with two kids and it was comfortable.

not enough utensils. But if was ok. pool was cold but it was january so I can understand that.

The property I’ve stayed on maybe about four years ago and I loved it coming back four years later staying in the unit that I was in was a little disheartening. The overall property was beautiful outside of the units, but there were some units that were really really nice and then some units that were horribly kept. I had a friend that stayed in the unit across to me. It was beautiful. It was nice. I would rate it eight in comparison to mine. I would rate mine of five.

The only thing I can say was the gym was outdated old and raggedy, but no one goes on vacation to work out so I guess that’s fine.

Very nice hotel with beautiful big rooms with tv, kitchen, nice terras, .... Everything is beautiful with a lovely patio and swimming pool. Cosy bar. Location is quiet, a bit remote.

The shower was not clean - I guess they forgot to clean it. We found a lot of hairs against the wall of the shower. The swimming pool is nice but doesn't really have a place to chill.

Terrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here! I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The photos online are completely misleading and nothing like reality – a total scam! Upon arrival, the room was dirty with poor hygiene standards. The bedding and pillows smelled awful, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There was no WiFi in the room, even though it was advertised, and despite contacting management multiple times during our 8-day stay, nothing was done to fix the issue. To make matters worse, they only provided one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay, which is completely unacceptable. This place is definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else!

The hotel itself was nice.

The bed had bed bugs that we did not notice so we ended up with a ton of itchy bites. there was also hardly any staff members - we were told there would be ATVs available, there were only scooters & bikes. When asked about the airport shuttle option, they did not take any information down or make it happen so we overpaid a taxi driver to get to the airport.

Second time at XP, but very dissatisfied this time around and will not return. I Received no email confirmation regarding key box, was lucky the pool guy helped me and my young family including a baby. No reception anymore, and no seating area around the pool and pool closed throughout the day. Room very unclean, with mold on blinds and strong mould smell and therefore we had no choice but to leave 1 night into our 6 night stay.
