Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Downtown

I have stayed at Hilton Garden Inn many times but not in Trinidad. I booked it including breakfast which is usually good. I had to ask for the breakfast voucher before I got it and then when we were finished with breakfast, I left the voucher there, thinking everything was fine.It was not.I found out several days later that they took the full amount out of the creditcard, they had on file. When I complained about this obviious error, they did not give me back the full amount. Eventhough I called them several times, they are not returning my calls. I would like to warn everyone from NOT staying there at all. Look for another place because they will steal your money!!

Minor -- wish the dining room was more cozy/omantic and lights not as bright.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the restaurant/bar staff to the housekeepers, etc. Wished we could have stayed longer, it was so relaxing and enjoyable. Everyone was so accommodating! Would love to come back!!

The Hotel is a little over two years old and it is immaculate! Our room was amazing! I commented to my Wife that I wished all the Hotels we've stayed in were this nice!

Very beautiful and very clean hotel. The staff was great as well. The little town has lots of history and friendly people in general. We will 100% be back.

The restroom doors in the rooms are the Barn Door style, which has a small gap on both sides when closed, so you get little privacy, especially if you have curious kids.

We stayed in one of the beautiful spacious suites. It was perfect. We used the sitting area to eat our snacks while watching TV. Beds were comfy. Room was quiet. Front desk staff (Jeremiah) was very accommodating. Breakfast was extremely tasty! Yummy omelette and they even had French Toast!

Kim Douglass at the front desk is such an asset for your hotel! She was so kind and helpful and check in was a breeze! In addition, my husband left his Apple Watch in the room and within a few hours, we got a call from Tiffany that it had been found! Such a wonderful bunch of people at this hotel and having a restaurant in the lobby is priceless! Unfortunately we were only at this hotel for one night but we will definitely be back soon and for longer!

Absolutely terrible help when the fridge wasn’t working! I NEEDED a working fridge for my dogs allergy antigen! Was told maintenance said it was working!!! Unbelievable.. entree took so long in restaurant that I could t eat it- no fridge to keep it in!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!!! Hilton always does way better than this!! Shame!
