Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Downtown

As a Hilton Honor member, my policy that if I have a problem with a Hilton Property location, I always take it up with the management first before writing my reviews. It gives them the opportunity to address any of my concerns. CHILI FESTIVAL EVENT was in full swing downtown, and we had no idea, so please keep that in mind when ready my review. Overall Property: We arrived early and our room was not ready. We had about a 30-minute wait. Two ladies were working the front desk and communicated back and forth with each other in a professional manner. There dress attire was in line with the Hotel Brand. Breakfast: This property has a Restaurant, so breakfast is not provided. While we did not eat any of our meals at the Restuarant, I did have the opportunity to look over the menu. It was a full menu, giving everyone a great choice when selecting. I personally feel like it was on the higher $$$ side but if you do not want to leave the property, then this might be for you. They also have a grab and go section for a minimal charge. Being from Louisiana we like strong coffee and the dark roast didn't do it for us. Rooms: Rooms were freshly cleaned. Plenty of linens. If you are a HH Member I suggest choosing your room through the Hilton app. Lobby Area: It was beautiful area with plenty of cozy seating. Infused water was available in the lobby. I loved this because each property uses different recipe for their infusion. Parking Area: There are plenty of parking spaces available near the front door. Looks like construction is going on in the front, but don't have any details. Summary: Great location and in walking distance of downtown activities and events. Minor issues with check out but addressed with management through email. Have not received a reply at the time of this review.

Clean room and neat landscape and scenery!

Very pet friendly with new park across the street.

The hotel restaurant was very handy and quite good since many Trinidad restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So it was a nice option. Rooms comfortable and had a nice roomy bathroom.

The food in your restaurant was of poor quality and overpriced!!

Hotel staff was nice. Hotel was clean, but king bed was hard as a rock. Also they don’t separate rooms where people with pets stay vs non pet customers.At 11pm women up to dog going crazy in room near me.
