"Instant Relaxation"

10.0

Definitely exceeded all of my expectations. This was a quick one night stop for us but I instantly wished for a longer stay. The property is so unique and a breath of fresh air (literally) compared to your average hotel stay. It's the intimate experience of a bed and breakfast, but in what feels like a well appointed, expansive vacation home. It would have taken days to fully experience all the lodge had to offer, so I am already plotting a return visit. The room had a balcony from which we could sit and take in the views. The pool/hot tub and game room were begging to be used. The on-site pub was a cozy retreat. Breakfast was a million miles from the prepackaged continental breakfast you come to expect, with fresh pastries and homemade items. The horse stable is nearby and after visiting it, I only wish there was time for a ride before we left. The couple who manage the lodge were accessible and took a real hands on approach to making you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing, small inn. Room is lovely with good views and a great bed. Pool is nice but needs better and more furniture. Restaurant fabulous.

"Lovely spaces and facilites...I would love to see an elevation in staffing to match the fine set up."

6.0

The location and the facilities are wonderful.

How about some labeling on the breakfast items? A gluten free option for sure would have been welcome. The owners greeting was great and, after that, lets say not hospitality focused. It must be hard these days to find and hire professional servers and front of house personnel and it showed. Also the reviews spoke about a chef who thrived on plant based fine dining. That didn't show in the menu offering or in the knowledge of the wait staff. We were looking for and longing for that as it drew us to stay. Also the common areas clearly need TLC in terms of cleaning and tidying. Not deal breakers but clearly noticeable and not in keeping with what is portrayed

Beautiful lodge. Pool desperately needs furniture. Not enough and what was there is pretty pitiful. Room is delightful with unique character. Restaurant had good food but so so wait staff. Unengaging and unattendive. Was not a fine dining experience although food was. Beautiful setting. Worth trying again.

"Very relaxing stay after multiple hiking days in the national park"

10.0

Great place to completely relax and unplug. Hosts greeted us at check-in, gave us a tour, and treated us like A list guests. Room had a private balcony looking out towards the Cacades, great place to have a bottle of wine. Lots to do but we chose to mostly relax. English pub is very cozy, dinner at Veranda was amazing. Wish we booked more days here on our trip.
