Woodspring Suites Rochester Greece

When you have booked a 2 night stay and are notified 5 hours before check in that they don't have YOUR accommodations BUT you can have a different room but only for one night... pretty sure you need to work on a few things. Thumbs down and a grade of F for this property. May need to reevaluate your claim of HOSPITALITY.

I really wish I could give this place more than two stars but It was not a pleasant stay and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The two stars are 1) for the staff who were so nice, all three of the ladies we met including the manager and a lovely woman who lives on sight to help keep things from getting too out of hand. The second star is because it was clean & spacious. We had first floor handicap accessible room that was easy to get around in. Now for the things that weren’t great. The walls are paper thin and you can heard people snoring next to you, the loud music and tvs, and the people who were crude and yelling at each other in the hallways at all hours of the day and night. If you expect anything more than one bar of soap, mouthwash and a super thin wash cloth and towel you would be disappointed. I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner incase I don’t like theirs but here it wasn’t an option. That is just cheap on the part of WoodSprings. Also what’s the point of a suite and kitchenette if there isn’t anything to cook on the cooktop with. We did use the fridge and microwave both of which worked . There was no place to hang dress clothes … so you don't think disabled people wear dress pants, nice shirts, or dresses that they would like to hang up. I did make this suggestion and there is a corner between the wall and shelf system that could accommodate this. The manager was very nice and thought this was a good suggestion and wrote it down. Facilities were very clean, but there was way too much noise at night. They almost need a front desk person regulating the noise. We hesitate to book with this hotel, because of the noise.

Let’s start with our door wasn't locking and we did not know until we were playing around and opened the door we thought was locked and it was UNLOCKED . They fixed it right away but they just took a piece off and left the exposed wood . This property is decent for now but definitely gave me sections 8 , DSS, Shelter vibes due to the company of people around . Also the front desk doesn’t open till 9am , that was late seeing I needed a towel because ours were DIRTY WITH DIRT MARKS ON THEM. I don’t recommend this place unless your on a tight budget and need a hotel with a full refrigerator and stove top . That is the highlight of the room . Staff was nice and friendly. (Coming for a black person )

Great newly renovated hotel. Easy to get to.

The property itself seemed like it was new to the area. I could tell by the vegetation outside. Some of the plants that were there weren’t quite grown in. The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The only issue was when sleeping at night you could hear just about every little noise even as much as the water running down through the pipes from the rooms above you. Seems to me some kind of insulation would’ve been helpful. The area that it was located in there wasn’t really anything that was walkable, but there were quite a few selections that were within a 5 mile radius. It seemed to us like the whole area was just starting to grow so possibly in the future, there would be more options within walking distance. We would highly recommend the place due to the fact that it was very reasonably priced especially if you’re looking for a place to stay that doesn’t have a whole lot of amenities that raise the price. It did have a gym in it, but no swimming pool. The only other issue was the fact that the coffee machine quit working while we were there.

Staff are terrible. Arguing threatening to guests I should have called the cops. Staff member put hands in my face Poor check in and check out policies charged me for “free Wi-Fi”

Hotel was nice I would stay again

It is the second time we stayed in the property. The only thing, we were charged for internet and barely we used it. Means, don’t use it apparently it is free and we had 7$ charges at the end.
