WoodSpring Suites East Lansing - University Area

Toooooo Loud!!!! Do something about the slamming doors!!!! It’s 2025! Add something to the door or door jam!!!! I have PTSD and will NEVER stay at any WOODSpring again. I complained and nothing was done or even attempted to rectify this.

The bathroom was still dirty, I had to use sanitizer wipes to clean the toilet

The bed was horrible - no amenities. Air conditioning worked great. Very small room

The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It would be nice if you had an ice machine available.

The room I was assigned was barely cleaned from the people before me. There was trail mix all over the floor and under the bed. Long blonde hair all over the floor. The bathroom appeared cleaned, but there were no towels, bath mat, or wash cloths stocked. No trash bags either in the room or bathroom After I cleaned everything up that was left from housekeeping I went down and talked to the lady at the front desk about the condition. She offered to send someone right away to clean the mess I already took care of. So, front desk-wise 10/10, housekeeping-wise 4/10.

The property and location is amazing!

The whole experience was very sterile. It was a virtual check-in. Never saw anyone at the front desk when coming or going. The lobby and corridors were just plain walls. The room was just furniture. Very cold with nothing on the walls. It was a very noisy stay as well. We heard loud, slamming doors all night long.

Location and amenities

The last part of my stay was shortened and I checked out 4 days early. I called at 8am to let them know I checked out early. Had to call 3 times over two weeks before I was refunded the days I did not stay. I was also charged $62 because my extended my stay wasn’t communicated properly. They checked the room, saw my things there and charged me for the day already paid for in my extended stay. After 4 times trying to get it returned I still made no progress. If I stay here in the future I’ll pay at the time of booking through booking.com so I’m not over charged.

Really easy check-in, friendly staff and very clean room. Comfortable bed as well. I only stayed for a night but would definitely recommend staying at the property.

My tv in my room didn’t work no one was willing to help me. There was no soap, shampoo or hairdryer in room and I had to go to the store to buy everything
