Always a great stay! We love the location and ho clean the entire hotel is.
Had an issue with being over charged and it took a while to actually get someone on the phone who could help. I called 4 x and was on the phone a total of 2 hours. When you check out always check your receipt. Happed at the other location at North Station last year. But we come back because we e love the Citizen!!

The hotel is in the perfect location, very good walking distance to most places! The room is compact but has everything you’d need, it’s clean & comfy! The staff are all very friendly! Opt for the Newbury Street view for the amazing sunsets!
It was expensive for what it was (given the World Cup dates) and you are unable to extend the stay at the hotel. Needs to be done online & when we asked the girl at reception she was very dismissive. All other staff were brilliant!

"The location was great, but value for money - not so much."

The staff were all nice and serviceminded. The common areas were amazing together with the location of the hotel. It is very safe to walk home from the financial area and there are tons of restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel.
The size of the rooms... Yes it is all new, clean and easy access, but anytime the sink/"half the bathroom" is in the same room as the bed, I just dont like it. Make up, blowdrying my hair, my husband shaving - all a cm away from the bed we sleep in... sorry!
