"Great stay as usual!"

This is my 4th time using Kasa in Wilmington. The stay is always great! Roomy, clean accommodations and easy check in and check out. It doesn’t always work out because they are a small company but I look for Kasa properties for all of my family trips.

Unable to access property due to technical error. Waiting stairwell at 8pm in 30 degrees heat with a five year old and with no information of when we’d be able to gain access. They refused to refund during my calls with them (so we could find alternative accommodation). We ended up having to leave and find an alternative place to stay at 9pm on a Saturday night. To be clear, this isn’t an apart hotel. It’s a vacation rental within a complex where (many retired) people live. There isn’t any physical presence and they appear to be reliant on a call centre if anything goes wrong.

"Absolutely terrible experience — avoid at all costs"

Kasa operates a virtual check-in, but due to a technical issue at their end, was unable to get us into our room. Check-in was supposed to be from 4pm, but the access code they gave us didn’t work. We called Kasa immediately – they said they’d send maintenance. We called multiple times over the next hour, but still no access by 8pm. By 9pm, on a Saturday night, we had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodation – with our five-year-old son, exhausted, in extreme heat, and having lost an entire evening of our holiday. Even worse, Kasa refused to refund us, saying we’d missed the cancellation deadline – despite the fact we literally couldn’t get into the property we paid for, and they couldn’t tell us when (or even if) someone might turn up to fix it. We could have been waiting outside all night! We lost a night of our holiday, had the stress of urgently finding somewhere else late at night, had to pay extra, and still need to find alternative accommodation for the next two nights. Absolutely shocking customer service, completely inflexible and uncaring. Expedia should be ashamed to list providers who treat families this way. I would never book with Kasa again.

The space was perfect and wonderfully appointed. It was almost as easy and comfortable as staying at home. I highly recommend—-but at the same time, I want to keep it my own little secret so it’s available when I need it next!

"Very Roomy and comfortable"

We enjoyed the amount of space, the supplies in the kitchen for cooking and eating, and the access to the pool. We also appreciated that our unit was on the ground floor, as we were traveling with a family member who has mobility challenges.

A perfect location for a getaway close to the beach. The property is very clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Communication is excellent, go ahead and book it,you'll be glad you did.

Loved the area the property was located and the property was landscaped very nice. I liked the openness of the common area inside and the beds and baths were a very good size. Now I did not like the musty smell of the apartment and the filter was very dirty. It needs to be sprayed for pest as there were several rollie pollie's and silverfish. The sofabed was extremely too hard. The springs were felt through the mattress and make it difficult to sleep on, the furniture appeared a very low modular type. Other than that it was a 3.5 star. Also, It was very bothersome to keep receiving text messages concerning the noise level. I went outside and could not hear any noise and even when I was in the bedroom with the door closed I didn't hear noise. I inquired a couple of neighbors to be sure it was not coming into their personal space and no one heard any noise. It was very disturbing to me and the guest i had and made us feel as if we had to be quiet like church mice.
