Kasa Southside Wilmington

BEWARE!!!! I reserved a room at their Wilmington North Carolina location for a wedding I was attending. I booked the room from October 15-22nd. I decided to go to Charleston, SC for a few days, as I'd never been there. I asked if I could change my reservation to the 18-22, but they had a no cancellation policy. So I figured I would just pay for the room in SC and double down on the hotel costs for those 3 nights. I drove from SC to NC on the 18th to check in. That's where the nightmare began. I couldn't get access to the room so I contacted the property. After holding for over an hour, I was informed that they had "given my room away" because I hadn't checked into the property on the 15th, yet THEY STILL EXPECTED ME TO PAY FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK! They "double dipped" on the room for that week. I travel often and have NEVER experienced anything like this. I was put in the position to try to find a new room, at the last minute while there was an Ironman going on in town. There were no rooms available anywhere close to Wilmington. I had never been to the area, it's dark and I'm trying to find a place to stay. This company has absolutely no integrity, or business morals. I am a small business owner in California and I would NEVER expect to render NO services, yet require the guest to pay for a hotel they never stepped foot in. They have refused to refund the money (for a room I never saw) therefore, I will be disputing these charges with my bank and will fight this until it's right.

Compared to previous stay, location was not as clean or maintained.

Great location from either beach. Quiet and peaceful during the night.

Great place in Wilmington, centrally located to everything. We had a 7 night stay. Feeling of home. Communications with Kasa were quick and easy. I definitely recommend this place.

This is a great alternative to use for families that might need multiple hotel rooms. Check in and out was a breeze and no costly cleaning fee. I'd definitely stay here again. The only negative was the fact that there isn't a typical cable TV system in the unit that I had, no local or network service. Made it tough to watch sports and see the news and weather.

Overall it was a pleasant place to be in Wilmington. We will highly recommend this place to all our friends and family.

The property was lovely. Loved how spacious it was. Our only complaint was that it was so close to the road and we were unable to enjoy the balcony for the noise.

Great apartment, very spacious with all appliances, coffee and anything you might need for cooking - including - beach towels! Peaceful spot with a balcony, easy parking, access to gym and pool. Try Covey’s for dinner across the street! Very convenient location to beaches, downtown, breweries, live music, the Cameron and all the charm of ILM. They even have concierge trash pickup and e-access for convenience. (Pro tip - pin their text and request auto-unlock as you step out of the car. Give the door a few secs to auto-lock behind you when you enter/exit.). I felt safe - and people were friendly on the property. Can’t wait to stay again!

good location, but walking in you had a greeting to roaches scattering, left property immediately to go to different location. this the south, so they do live here, but property should have regular pest control. The good thing was they did issue a refund for the stay
