Gibson Manor Apartments

Booked the superior apartment for a 2 night stay. Comfy bed and spacious lounge with kitchen table - small kitchen equipped with everything, even washing machine.. Lovely bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Heating worked quite fast. Had a problem with the fob which was sorted within 30 mins. Close to Tesco Express and a short walk along the Mersey front to a local Pub - plenty of restaurants around if you don't want to cook in. Would book again!

The house is under construction and not sure when our room was finished but a bit of brick dust along the skirting. It's an apartment - bed made and all but no toilet paper or washing up equipment so need to take that into consideration

No internet - had to use my own dongle. Luckily I had taken it with me. No net curtains, or blinds - not good for privacy Curtain in bedroom too small for window No toilet roll - had to buy my own, and I left a roll for the next guest arrival No cutlery No iron bathroom tiles not cleaned (the top of walls due to the height of the ceilings) emailed re: iron, internet, cutlery - no response Plasterboard crack in living room Cheap wall light on ceiling in living room, alley and bedroom No instructions regarding heaters No hooks in bathroom to hang clothes

The property location was good and there was car parking

We arrived to a dirty apartment, there was no turn over since last guests so we couldn’t sleep in the bed as the sheets were dirty the kitchen is very small which is fine but it meant we couldn’t use it due to dishes and dirty work tops. No clean towels etc. the building is also still under construction so there is no lift, the carpets are badly stained from builders and the hall was covered in building materials. Contacted agent who arranged for a cleaner to come the next day and was to call round himself - sadly he didn’t come round and we in effect couldn’t use the apartment until almost mid day on day 2 of our 2 night stay. Whilst mistakes happen the lack of care or subsequent contact- despite emailing - has been very disappointing

Location perfect for us visiting family & friends. Great views. Quiet peaceful area & very secure. Lots of parking Apartment modern, bright & spacious Entrance areas & hallways clean & tidy. Host responded immediately to needing some more equipment i.e tea towels & cutlery & about a repair

Limited basic equipment such as tea towels, dishcloth, washing up liquid, hand soap & hand towel in bathroom. No information pack stating how to use heaters, turn off kitchen fan & t.v or connect wifi. No comfy seating area, bed settee low & uncomfortable. Apartment needs deep clean, has residue building dust on tiles in bathroom & on top of kitchen units & the heat & smoke detectors still covered in blue plastic protectors! Some rubbish left presumably from previous guest, in drawers & between units ie cotton balls & a tablet in a waste bin.

Parking, shower, reasonably clean

No bed quilt cover for the sofa bed, building materials in the hallway-unfinished building. Cheap fittings, dirty crockery, no light shades, bathroom fan heater needs replacing. Building front door wasn't secure. Bedroom window opener too wide -Hazard, should have an opening restrainer. No communication about access; had to chase. Group leader room cancelled with no notice-very unacceptable.

Very spacious clean and well maintained, really really enjoyed our stay

Very very picky and didn’t ruin the stay at all but the curtains in the room weren’t long enough to block out the light shining through in the morning

The layout and location

Joining Instructions poor-no mention by Charlie that entry lockbox was hidden on post outside building main entrance - forced to disturb neighbour to find it Rang Charlie management twice before disturbing neighbour- just got answer machine message- no response back- very poor service No WiFi-even after resetting router several times No television channels- need a degree in computer science to operate it but found out router is main reason for no programming No toilet paper- one quarter roll left for two people - disgraceful No washing up liquid, basic stuff missing Cheap Plastic cutlery provided- which was dirty Disgraceful kitchen -Utensils just thrown in drawer Frying pan non stick burnt- useless No bathmat for shower Carpets stained/ dirty at front door Obviously no checks done by management company on whether services are working correctly

No WiFi at all stayed with my son for 3 nights am 66 years of age leg broken on setee very poor booking flat 10 was put in flat3
