Gibson Manor Apartments

Its easy to find, nice sea view, free parking tesco and pub within walking distance.

we only had 1 toliet roll for the whole weekend, and we can out and had to buy some. So more than one would be better. We were meant to be in flat 10, but got moved to 9 - not sure why.

It was very clean and very good value

Near train station. Plenty of places to eat locally

Slight issue with keys when arrived but quickly resolved.

All in all nothing really meets professional standard: We arrived with 4 people and only had two towels. It took 4 (four) days to get an answer from the host, as telephone wasn't answered and communication was reduced to the "booking-app" Kitchen without dish-washer and without drying towel. Greasy pots and pans. Left groceries in the kitchen. Toilet without toilet-brush. Cealing lights without lampshade, bulp only. Carpet flooring, but no hoover. TV without arial, only Amazon Fire stick. And so on...

The building outside is lovely. The apartment was spacious

We were meant to be on ground floor with river view but did not get either. There was food and things still in cupboards. No hand or tea towels left out I had to search for them in a pile in airing cupboard. No hairdryer. No shampoo/bodywash, just empty cartons of a body wash. I had written prior to ask if need to bring these but no response. No instructions to turn down heating. Beds were to hard. Advertised as having mini golf and water activities, hairdryer, dishwasher, tumble dryer and drying racks but alas nothing. Work still in progress inside the building so building items strewn about. Such a shame as beautiful building.

Quite spacious an air. Relatively clean.

Had to be given alternative apartment on 1st night because availability wrong on booking.com. When in booked apartment, no oven shelves, dirty bedding, dirty water in bathroom sink with the plug stuck in. No tec cloths in kitchen. Trays in oven not washed.

The apartment was comfortable, modern and well located.

We arrived there and there were no keys for the flat. It was then when the nightmare started.

Parking was in front of the accommodation helped Hidden gem in Wallesey, newly renovated ,- felt safe and homely as we walked in. Friendly neighbour in the apartment above. Communication very good through messaging and calling. It totally suited our budget. One of those places you want to keep a secret.

We were fine with everything!
