Rumah Pesik is unlike a typical hotel, it feels more like staying in a private museum filled with art and history. The property is incredibly atmospheric, with intricate details, sculptures, and heritage elements everywhere you look. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, adding to the overall experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is peaceful and offers a nice retreat from the busy parts of the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something unique and culturally rich rather than a standard hotel experience. It’s best suited for travellers who appreciate character and atmosphere over polished uniformity.

Sehr freundliches Personal und außergewöhnliches Hotel.

Exceeded my expectations! Very charming hotel in a unique part of town. Very quiet and retreat-like location. Full of history and beauty. Good breakfast. Kind staff passionate about the place. Comfy, historical beds.

Cleanliness and some of the amenities could be improved, such as the shower curtain. I saw a bug in the bathroom, but otherwise the room itself was super clean.

This hotel is fantastic, has so much charm, character and history. The museum attached is fascinating, containing the extensive antiques and curiosities of the owner. The rooms are spacious and clean. The roof top Cafe and bar is great for coffee and general hanging out. The breakfast was delicious and there staff were very friendly. It is such a peaceful place to stay. It was our favourite accommodation over our 3 week holiday due to its uniqueness (and we stayed it some fabulous places)! The room was large and had a/c. Its fairly basic I suppose but very clean, it feels like youre staying in a home rather than a hotel with a lovely garden at the centre of the complex. Its very reasonably priced and in the old centre of the city. I would recommend exploring the local area which has heaps of brilliant coffee shops which are unique to Jogja lifestyle. It's about 15 mins into the city centre by taxi, which are easy to book, the area also has a brilliant market 5 mins from hotel with lots of great street food. Definitely explore the winding back streets & alleyways between the hotel, Mataram and market.

Need a taxi to get into the city centre but we liked the area the hotel was in.

Pobyt w Rumah Pesik Art & Heritage Hotel był jednym z najbardziej wyjątkowych doświadczeń podczas naszej podróży po Indonezji. Sam hotel przypomina żywe muzeum – każdy zakątek zachwyca piękną architekturą, antykami i niezwykłymi detalami artystycznymi. Atmosfera tego miejsca jest absolutnie wyjątkowa i pozwala poczuć prawdziwego ducha Jawy. Pokój był przestronny, komfortowy i bardzo klimatyczny. Szczególne wrażenie zrobiła na nas dbałość o detale oraz połączenie tradycji z wygodą. Personel był niezwykle uprzejmy, pomocny i zawsze uśmiechnięty:)
