Hermes Cruises

We stayed one night early on 3/12 and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. They arranged two excursions and activities on board that are very interesting. It includes four meals! The buffet lunch starts our adventure. The dinner features traditional Vietnamese dishes, especially "bamboo beef". They offer a light breakfast so we can join an excursion to climb the Ti Top mountain, where you can see a beautiful scene of Ha Long Bay. Then Hermens arranged a brunch to end the whole tour, as it is very thoughtful to send us back to the city centre by 3:30 pm. The room has a balcony where we can relax to sit outside to view Ha Long Bay. The bed is very comfortable. We booked a senior suite, so there is a shower as well as a massage tub! When the night comes, the lights from all the cruises anchoring in Ha Long Bay create an amazing scenery that I will not forget. All the staff are very warm with smiley, especially the tour leader, Lam, who led us to all the excursions and took photos for all of us as well as history introduction. I highly recommend the Hermes cruise for Ha Long Bay. They keep the quality and services in every aspect, which ensures it is worth it.

very tiny issues: the safety box is too low, but I used the key as an alternative way; there is no second small bedside table. However, these will not affect our total experience.

Plavba bola skvelá a hlavne bol úžasný personál, ktorý sa o vás dokonale postaral. Skvelý zážitok, skvelé jedlo a určite odporúčam túto spoločnosť.

The dinner is good. Ha Long bay is beautiful as usual.

We are disappointed by the service. Compared with another cruise I have experienced, the service is quite poor. Employees all looked tired and upset. We understand that the cruise want customers to order drink to get more income, however, there should be some drink (even just water is fine) during the buffet service. The dinner is set like French meal, so no drink served is fine. But I have never had any buffet completely without drink, so weird. There is happy hour promotion for the cocktail, unfortunately the cocktail tastes terrible. I strongly recommend the cruise company reconsider the drink promotion. It is really a terrible way to force customers to order drink by getting them thirst to death and leave them a terrible impression of your cruise. Customer is willing to spend more money to buy anything when the service is positive rather than negative.

O staff foi incrível, fez da minha experiência no Cruzeiro muito mais especial. Sem dúvida recomendo a experiência.

Such a fantastic few days! The staff were all so friendly and attentive, they make this cruise so memorable. The room was stunning, lovely comfy bed. The dining room had huge windows to sit next to and never felt loud or busy. Food was delicious and there's so much of it, veggie food was great. Trips were well organised and fun, even in the rain. Recommend staying 2 nights if you can so you get away from the busy tourist parts.

Paying for water with dinner. Hot tub wasn't a hot tub, just a cold pool, probably lovely on a hot day but it was pretty chilly when we were there.
