In the center of the city

Located near the airstrip in a cozy neighborhood just a block from a main avenue and ten minutes from the hilltop victory monument this no frills hotel served it's purpose. Friendly local food was just outside the door and on the other side of the bridge was a beer garden with delicious food, many locals and excellent riverside atmosphere. Bikes, tours and transport were available.

Staff were all nice, attentive, and helped with onward bus tickets. Central location. Hotel was clean and probably good value. This was our first hotel in Vietnam after arriving from Laos.

Double room with bath only had a window to the hallway and so small we could barely move around, not what I thought I had reserved. We had hoped to go on some kind of tour but didn’t find anyone who spoke English enough to explain the options, so we decided to move on.

Excellent stay. Clean, comfortable. Very good location: near all the main sites. A number of good and inexpensive local restaurants around. Nice, leafy neighbourhood. And the staff is wonderful: very helpful, smiley, making sure you have a nice stay. Highly recommended. As for Dien Bien Phu: good city, well worth visiting. People are lovely.

Best staff ever. Friendly, helpful, kind, always smiling. They made me feel at home
